Thermal Compound

Many people tend to overlook the purchase of high quality thermal compound. They believe that any kind of standard gel will do the trick and keep their computer system running great forever. However, they are completely wrong if they are using the powerful computer processors of today. This important factor can make or break a possible heat failure in the future. Besides this if you don't apply it correctly then you are causing a future issue as well. The choices are slim, but you still must make the right decision when it comes to conductivity and those options are just below.

The small number of reviews below will show you the best of the best. Not many companies choose to go into this well dominated area, but those that do only have to prove themselves against one competitor! That may seem like an easy thing to you, but these companies are well oiled machines and innovators. I will say they have stagnated for a while now with new technology, but they haven't had to make anything new. I can't wait to find a good thermal paste that will take 50-70 degrees off of a computer cpu, but I may be waiting a long time. Energy efficiency has done a lot of this for us with Intel procesors and AMD processors. If you have any suggestions or questions please contact me.

Best Thermal Compound

Arctic Silver 5 has been one of the top dogs for quite some time. You will have a hard time matching what this thermal compound is capable of doing. I believe that something is out that can match it. That would be the Arctic Cooling MX-4 formula. It uses a similar formula, but goes about moving heat differently that may or may not be better under certain situations. However, this thermal compound has been the best of the best for quite some time and I don't see it being knocked down for quite some time. Use this link to read the Arctic Silver 5 review.

Arctic Cooling MX-3 imageArctic Cooling MX-3 image

The Arctic Cooling MX-3 is the best thermal paste is available on the market. It's really only competition is the Arctic Silver 5, which has been available for a very long time. I am guessing that the need for a better thermal paste hasn't been needed enough to really research it that much. People hardly think about finding a new thermal interface material because nothing new an innovative is out there. We just use the same ole thing and hope for better results I believe it is about time for a company to push the limits and find something that will make overclocking and heavy computer gaming more tolerable when under heavy voltage loads.
