HP CHEATS

We paid a lot for an Hewlett-Packard desktop with a WebCam. HP recalled the computer because of computer motherboard problems. We returned the HP computer and received it back with a packing slip that said "fixed", not replaced. The computer died 3 months ago. HP==never again.

I am sorry for your problems with your HP computer. I remember back in 2003 my old Dell computer was recalled before I even received it. Unfortunately the replacement computer parts did not fail.

In the past, HP was a manufacturer that did very poorly with computers because they bought computer parts that were too cheap and unreliable. Eventually something is going to die and people will be upset.

Overrall the company has gotten better with especially with their laptop line of products. My job uses HP exclusively for the Microsoft Windows machines and all kinds of crazy things happen over time.

I believe HP did a poor job as usualy for the last 10+ years with their repairs and didn't research the replacement computer motherboard well.

Personally, I would build your own computer with computer parts that are higher quality. If you are not capable of building a computer and need a warranty you will have to go to a major dealer or an online dealer that I cannot personally recommend because I don't have experience with all of them.

I believe people should learn how to do their own laptop repairs. Computer laptops can seem intimidating, but they are just like everything else, just smaller. You can save hundreds of dollars by not dealing with customer support and young kids messing with your important documents!
