How to Install a Wireless Mouse

How to install a wireless mouse should be the easiest thing to install on a computer, I am here to tell you that it is! Of course, It's not always about plugging a cord into the back of your computer and waiting for a popup to come on to say the new hardware is installed. You will find that it is that simple for PS/2 and an apple mouse, but wireless mice have an extra step for its extra incentive.

Wireless mice or a bluetooth mouse have a receiver that will connect to the computer with a USB cable. The receiver sends a signal out like your wireless router for peripherals of a certain radio frequency to catch and reply back to. You must press a button the bottom of the receiver to start this signal and then click a button on the bottom of your mouse for computer to start the reply to signal. Then your computer will be able to recognize your device as if it was plugged in.

I have a cordless mouse, but with my current desk it usually ends up falling on the floor, not reading quickly enough for my high performance games or the batteries eat into my wallet. You may find your situation more formidable and I may go back to a wireless mouse once I move into my new place next month. Only time will tell! You can find reviews on a pc mouse on our website.
