I believe that if you get the best computer hard drive possible for your needs you will not have to get a replacement for quite some time. Mine have already outlasted the rest of the computer parts within my computer system! Of course, this can happen if you are not using your computer alot and don't move a lot of files around and download new things everyday. Making the hard drive search for files constantly is the hardest thing for it to do, but that will be made almost too easy for SSD hard drives.
