Of course Egghead thought that after the credit card problem they would never bounce back, but I think they were wrong. Nevertheless I still get to do business with a great conmpany like Amazon.

If you are old school like me and looking for the same kind of computer parts loyalty you can not trust in two companies. One is obviously Amazon. They have been providing great services for their customers in many different categories. They are simply the online Walmart! The other company is Newegg, which I happened upon many years ago after egghead disappeared. I am quite surprised how much they have grown. Their use base is very loyal and for good reason!

Conclusion

My suggestion is that you visit Amazon, Newegg, Frys, Tigerdirect, etc.... until you find the computer parts online store that can replace Egghead computer parts. You may not find a perfect match, but I assure you that you will not be to sad to not have Egghead available anymore. All these wholesale computer parts suppliers have the products you need, but some will not have the inventory or customer service as the next one on the list.
