ATI Rage Pro 128

You might be wondering why I am reviewing the ATI Rage Pro 128, which is a very old AGP video card. The 32mb of RAM is nothing and no computer motherboards support AGP anymore anyway. I am basically doing this to tell you not to use this video card anymore for any reason!

You may think that you are only showing graphics, but if you use a newer operating system like XP, Vista or Windows 7 you will find it will not operate. It does have the power to do such operations at a basic level, but the drivers are not updated for this. They have basically been stopped and you will have to buy a new computer graphics card.

If you are planning to buy the ATI Rage Pro 128 for your old AGP computer please buy the best AGP video card available. It is super cheap right now since demand is almost nothing and they have them sitting in the warehouses collecting dust. The best thing you could do is just build a new computer yourself with updated computer technology. I hope this saves you some time, money and frustration.
