You would think that installing an Apple Wireless Keyboard would be the easiest thing in the world. I am here to tell you that it is! Of course, it’s not always about plugging a cord into the back of your computer and wait for a popup to come on to say the new hardware is installed. You will find that it is that simple for USB keyboards, but wireless keyboards have an extra step for its extra incentive.

Apple wireless keyboards have a receiver that will connect to the computer with a USB cable. The receiver sends a signal out like your wireless router for peripherals of a certain radio frequency to catch and reply back to. You must press a button the bottom of the receiver to start this signal and then click a button on the bottom of your apple keyboard to start the reply to signal.
