Overview
The first thing I want to let you know about the AMD Dual Core Optimizer is important. It is
not going to work for Windows 7. Windows 7 is optimized for quad core + processors and does
not need an optimizer of any kind. All performance software is already installed within the
operating system. Of course, many people don't have windows 7 so it is a safe bet you have

As you have been wondering this software can and will increase computer gaming performance for your
AMD dual-core processor. It does this adding timing to the software programs that don't use the
Windows API version. Why they don't use the Windows API is beyond me, but it is something that
needs to be handled! This program uses the Read Time Stamp Counter (RDTSC) instruction to correct
timing errors in the video performance of dual-core processors. This is a constant synchronization
with the time stamp counters to make sure they are always in line. It's almost like trying to stay
in tune with the Big Ben clock in London.

It is on version 1.1.4 and I believe it will not be getting upgraded further since it has reached pretty much
the end of its use. The size is small at 4mb so you won't be hogging up any space at all. However you will see a marketed performance boost in your computer gaming
