Overview
The Seagate FreeAgent Go 500GB
review shows to be a very stable computer hard drive. Many people have used this external hard drive for their storage drives or as back-up operating system hard drives. Either way it works up to expectation. Seagate is a well known company and it is quite an innovator when it comes to new technology or being the first on the block with the biggest and baddest computer hard drive. I am glad to see that they have made themself a stable in the external hard drive market.
The Seagate FreeAgent Go 500GB is a very quiet sata hard drive as well. You don't have to get a Solid State Drive (SSD) to get a quiet and cooler
computer hard drive. However, I am all for the SSD technology and have been waiting for it. Of course, their are a few bugs still left to work out.
All will be solved with time and it should not deter you from checking out the SSD drives with their current high prices.
