Overview
The invention of a quad core processor led people to once again believe that computers will remain increasing in speed and shrinking in size for near infinite. Or at least until a new technology came out to replace it. The Intel Core i7 920 review shows that this computer cpuis on the seemingly slower end of their computer cpu infrastructure. However, I like to think of this is a computer cpu made more for the business user in mind. It doesn't need to be the fastest computer chip out there if you aren't playing the most graphics intensive computer game available.
It has the newer technology of hte 45nm chip size and a nice voltage to work with for overclocking minimally, but it is primarily made for a cheaper alternative to the more gaming and graphic intensive 945 and 955 Intel Core I7 computer processors. I would definitely use this for my computer system just for web development and nothing else. I don't really need much in the terms of gaming anymore since I rarely play it on my computer system anymore. I will see if that chagnes anytime soon.
