I mentioned this pci video card during the Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 review , but the EVGA GeForce GTX 260 review is a very close second in my calculations. It actually all comes down to how the evgavideo card users have physically tested these two video cards in their own situations.
Memory - 896mb GDDR3 Ports - 1x HDMI, 2x DVI SLI - 3 way Warranty - Lifetime PCI - PCI-E 2.0 x16
The EVGA GeForce GTX 260 review comes down to a couple things to me. One of those things is performance. This computer video card performs on par with its ATI counterpart without a problem. It is also a great overclocker and can give you the power you need. It also comes with a great lifetime warranty for those people who just can't help but to break everything they touch. However, there are always two sides to this story.
The EVGA GeForce GTX 260 review has many things that are a nuisance for it for many of its users. It is a very large computer video card and will eat up a PCI slot in any computer case that you put it inside. It produces a lot of heat so I hope your room is cold so this will warm you up in the winter. It has a GDDR3 memory type unlike the GDDR5 of ATI's counterpart. It needs a 500 watt minimum computer power supply to power it. So don't go looking to put this in a super small LAN party computer cause because it just won't work.
Besides all this you will find this evga graphics card to be very popular with people and being sold at a high rate. Actually I checked here in December and have found it to be sold out in most places because EVGA can't keep up with the demand. I don't see that problem too often, but maybe they might want to think about reving things up during the holidays so people can buy what they want. You can find more information at video card reviews
You can purchase the EVGA GeForce GTX 260
for around $210 from an online retailer. You may find this at a retail store, but definitely for a much higher
price. I would think of paying over $250 from a retail chain.
