The ECS Geforce 6100PM-M2 review provides you with a cheap alternative to high cost computer motherboards. I believe it could be cheaper, but that is why it is set to low on the totem pole. ECS was the first computer motherboard I built with because it was cheap. I discovered they are better with Intel motherboards than they are with AMD motherboards.

Overview

The ECS Geforce 6100PM-M2 review is generally a great look at a computer motherboard reviews that is great for the personal consumer that has little money , but wants a computer motherboard that is able to run the higher end computer parts adequately. This is usually the best option for those that would like not to spend a thousand dollars on a computer they will not use everyday. I am not one of those people, but I used to be and I know just how these people feel. Why spend more than what you need?

If you look at the computer memory you will see that the DDR2 RAM is not very good. DDR2 800 is something I had in my 2004 Dell Optiplex GX270 computer with a single core computer cpu. It should really be a bit higher. I have to mark them down for that move. However, that computer motherboard only held 4gb of computer ram. This computer motherboard holds 16gb of computer ram. I guess that makes up for it being a bit slow.

Also the PCI and SATA ports have been reduced from the bigger computer motherboards more robust amounts. Of course this is partly because this is a Micro-ATX computer motherboard, but many other Micro ATX motherboards have more attributes than this. ECS built this board to be economy and small on purpose.

By not using up too much power the ECS Geforce 6100PM-M2 review shows that it can power an integrated Nvidia Geforce 6100 computer video card. This is definitely a stronger computer video card for this budget machine and would need a little more power than most integrated micro-atx computer video cards. I am quite surprised that they went with such a high end computer video card for this budget computer motherboard. However, this makes the amd motherboard look much better in the eyes of the consumer.

Price

You can purchase the ECS GeForce 6100PM-M2 for around $55 dollars from an online retailer. You will not find this older computer motherboard for sale at a local retailer. The price would be high if it were possible anyway. Save your money and your time and buy online.
