Overview

The COOLER MASTER COSMOS 1000 review shows to be a strong contender in the ATX full tower computer case market. Many people want large computers that don't make a lot of noise, but still cool the computer parts well. With the configuration of the computer case you will notice the normal things along with the bottom mounted 120mm fan intake and the sleek finish. However, they have decided that the power supply should be mounted on the bottom of the case instead of the top. You will also see 2 pre-drilled holes in the back of the computer case for pc water cooling. That will throw you for a loop if you thought the case was upside down!

Some of the external items you might have expected to traditionally be in the front and back of the computer actually on the top of this ATX full tower computer case. The power button, USB, firewire, ESATA and input/microphone jacks are up there. One special thing about the bottom fan that I failed to mention was an insert to direct that air intake in any 360 direction that you please. It is quite versatile if you want it to blow on the computer power supply, computer cpu, computer video card or computer hard drive.

The Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 review shows that the next cool thing about this computer case is the sound dampening technology. They have inserted foam on both of the side panels and installed a rubber seal on the connection points to make an almost airtight connection. They also added rubber gaskets around the holes for the computer hard drive connections. The Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 review shows that it may have better sound dampening than my own vehicle!

Amidst all these great features it did not get number 1 in my list. You want to know why? The hard drive cooling tested poorly compared to other major brands because of the way the hard drives are arranged vertically in the computer case I think they believe the bottom mounted fan will take care of everything but it is not under the computer hard drives.
