The Arctic Cooling MX-2 review shows to be a great contender for the Arctic Silver line of heatsink compounds. You probably have heard of the large growing fan base of this particular thermal compound. It is not doubt that this heatsink compound is the closest thing to beating Arctic Silver 5.

The things that this has on Arctic Silver 5 is that its non-conductive and doesn't have a wait time for it to set. You can slap it on really sloppy and instantly start using your computer a second later. Some people can't wait and there is no reason they should have too. Most people aren't very good at using a toothpick to apply the thermal paste either. I don't think thats a big deal.

You can purchase the ARCTIC COOLING MX-2 for around $7 at an online retailer. You can try to find at a local retailer, but the name just hasn't grown enough to be on a mainstream stores list.
